Something I had planned for awhile, when Bob moved out I started preparing. After 6 years, lots of settling, as this was not a prepared site. So now we can clean up in front expand green grass and parking.
This is a quiet and beautiful spot with lots of privacy,, easy to find and hosted by true Alaskans. I was graciously greeted with the most delicious rhubarb pie of the summer and enjoyed a safe and peaceful night sleep. For the convenience of our guests there is a separate Laundry and Shower facility located next to the office. There are 3 complete bathrooms with showers, and washers and dryers for laundry. The laundry and showers are token operated, tokens can be purchased at the office next door, or our automated token machine in the facility.
Reservations begin on January 1st for the following summer season. Please contact us before January if you are a group of more than 5 sites or staying longer than 10 days. There is limited availability of long-term and group sites. Beachfront sites sit directly on the water for wonderful beachcombing, eagle-watching and fishing. Plenty of room for boats, dry RV storage, extra vehicles and groups. We integrate with the National Weather Service to provide valuable fire advisories to Hosts and Hipcampers.
Alaskan art and a coffee bar welcome you in the large common building.
